The Truth and Nothing But the Truth

I know for some of you out here in cyberspace being truthful about your every dealing is not a issue.
But for me it's like a climax when I discover I have not been completly honest about what I have been doing in my daily living.
For many the issue  maybe small, but for me dishonest is dishonest!
When a dishonest moment occurs for me nowdays,I can't just simply write it off.
You see that what been my problem as a human being writing off the little white lies of my life.

I can respect that, my brotha.
And I wish you all the best with that personal aspiration.

For the most part, I am a honest person. Could I be even MORE truthful in my EVERY dealing? Yes, & in a more perfect world, perhaps I would be. It's bad enough that we are lied to, in small & large ways daily, & we will often go along for the ride. What matters most is that we don't become victims of our own untruths. It would be beyond pathetic to live a life constructed of self-delusion.

Ya smell me?

Moanerplicty:Not for one second are my eyes closed to the world around me.
I strive for honesty in all of my dealing, simply because there are so many people watching me in my doing.
Many of the young people I encounter daily look to me for answers,so it's my duty to at least show them the right way.

That's a worthy and worthwhile perspective, Mac. Shaping the minds & hearts of the younger gneratiion is a admirable ambition. Mad props to you! If only your honesty & YOUR influence were the only ones that they'll be encounting in this crapshot called: Life.

Sometimes 5 seconds after dropping some knownledge on them they are back to calling themselves bitches and hoes,go figure.

I,as well respect where you are today, and the courage it's taken to be honest, about where you were and where you are now!!!!!GROWTH, has a way of letting us know, when some things are not what we should be doing, either we get it or we don't. Your right for some it's a small issue, for others it's a big issue, but it's not about it being big or small the issue is the dishonesty in any form. Life, automatically throws us all kinds of curves, but if we concentrate on our own "integrity" through those twists and turns of life and what it shows & means about our character and who we really are, we will learn that honesty is the best policy regardles how big or small the issue may be. Striving for that honesty in every dealing is hard, because we live in a imperfect world and we're imperfect beings but, when we know, we know & there's no excuse for not, at least trying it a better way, it may not only influence another person, but move you forward on this journey we called LIFE and the Life's lesson, we're being taught. So I commend you, for knowing where you need to be and acknowledging the lesson.
