So do I shed a tear?

I just read on CNN where Joe Paterno, the former Penn State Football Coach has passed away.
I usually don't speak ill of the dead, but lord forgive me this one time.
Joe's knowledge of the child abuse activities of his former assistant coach Sandusky, keeps me from  wanting to shed a tear of his passing.
Maybe his family will take some of the millions they made from his tenure at Penn State and help the victims of Sandusky's madness!
                                                         Big Mac!

In my Sunday school class, we adults ponder the power of God. We talk about His goodness and love, and we also talk about His fiery anger.

Lately a lot of wickedness has been coming to abrupt and ugly endings. It's not PC, but some of us say that God is strike down some stuff.

I'm just saying.

I feel nothing but sadness at this whole story, may we all heal.

I wish more people would honor & consider & feel passionate over the victims of the abuse. But when history is written, they will be but a sidenote. A 50 year career of winning, of victory & success is & will always take priority over anything or anyone else. Sadly, that's the way of the world.

One.

I agree, BIgMac. Paterno should have done more, much more.

He was a great football coach, but not a particularly good man or citizen.
