Caught Between a Rock And a Hard Place!

In the Graveyard of Empires: America's War in AfghanistanI watch President Obama's speech last night and frankly I was feeling a little sorry for him.
The mess he is facing today must really be taking a toll on him,it's not a easy thing to make the decison to send 30,000 men and women to war.
I don't have an answer that would make sense to him or to the war hawks who have kept this mess going.
But what I do know within my own heart is that war is hell and if thats the game you want to play, then you and your love ones need to be on the front lines!

I am with you Bigmac, war leaves effects on everyone it touches that last a lifetime. We are all brothers and sisters and we need to take care of each other.

thanks calmcoach,it really is that simple but most people are moving so fast they can't see the forest for the trees.

I felt sorry for him, too. He's got critics on both sides, and there's no winning strategy. There's no victory. Nobody is going to surrender. Nobody is going to lay their arms down. There is no enemy army... just terror in general.

Welcome carpetbaggery,I'm so sick of war and the excuses I hear daily on why we are at war.
Until enough people in this country get sick as I,just don't see a end to the maddness call war.
