Customer Service

We have all walked into a business and seen employees who treat you the customer like crap.
How many times have you return to that business to buy again?
My question today is do you think customer service in businesses have improved or gotten worse?

I'd say it's about the same as it was 10 or 20 years ago. The difference from store to store is partly because of each store's compensation system. Commission systems bring out the greed in some clerks, resulting in over-aggressive approaches. Some clerks respond to non-commission systems, OTOH, with laziness and a general lack of regard for the customer since (in those clerks' minds) there's no incentive to try hard.

Note that I say "some". Others are just good regardless of the pay structure. You gotta like those people.
